IACMI celebrates National Manufacturing Day
While IACMI typically celebrates National Manufacturing Day by hosting Detroit-area students at IACMI SURF, this year IACMI went virtual, partnering with Wayne County Area Schools for “Ask an Engineer” sessions with 3,000+ students. Two engineers at IACMI SURF made presentations and took questions during the 40-minute events.
IACMI also partnered with Davis Technical College, the Advanced Composites Manufacturing Association (ACMA), and Composites One to promote manufacturing careers in composites, including a Nov. 10 webinar: “Careers in Composites: Building Today for the Future of Manufacturing.”
